www.chouchine.fr Pour la deuxième compétition à laquelle j'assiste, ça se passe à Tianjin. Un ville situé à 120 km de Pékin. J'avais réussi à acheté 6 billets dans une banque il y a quelques mois pour du football. J'ai emmené avec moi 3 Chinois et un Péruvien ! Mais le foot au JO, tout le monde s'en moque un peu !

Manimal conta a história de Jonathan Chase, (Simon MacCorkindale), um homem que é capaz de se transformar em qualquer animal que desejar. Acompanhado de Brooke Mackenzie e Ty Earl, ele utiliza suas habilidades para combater criminosos.

Um dos momentos mais interessantes da série era a transformação de Chase em fera. Para esse efeito especial foram usados moldes de gesso com seu rosto, onde máscaras eram criadas. Foi utilizado a técnica chamada Chroma Key, que consiste em projetar imagens em um fundo azul ou verde, para criar os efeitos de transformação em animais.

Apesar de todo aparato técnico a série só teve míseros 8 episódios gravados, sendo cancelada em seguida. A produção é de 1983. A série foi apresentada no Brasil pela Rede Globo e Manchete.

Manimal was a short lived television series that ran from September 30, 1983 to December 17, 1983 on NBC. It was about a shape-shifting man who could turn himself into any animal.

Directed by "Don Letts" this is the 1983 hit "I.O.U." by Britsh group "Freeez". It was written, produced and mixed by Arthur Baker, (then known for his work with New Order and Afrika Bambaatta), it also appeared on the 80's Breakdance movie "Beat Street".

It spent two weeks at number one in the US Billboard dance chart, sandwiched between the likes of Madonna, Michael Jackson and David Bowie, and was number 2 in the national United Kingdom Gallup charts through the summer of '83. It was followed by other releases from their album such as "Pop Goes My Love" / "Scratch Goes My Dub," which hit the US top five. In 1987 a new remix of "I.O.U." showed the strength of the 80's anthem by climbing back up to number eighteen on the U.S. dance chart, plus number twenty-three in the national United Kingdom Gallup charts.

Despite being known globally for their two top ten hits as per the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1983, "Freeez" was initially known for its emergence as one of the UK's first and leading Jazz Funk bands of the very early eighties. Founded by John Rocca, Freeez gained considerable respect from the industry, DJs and the Jazz Funk and Dance public as a dance music group from London, England. Freeez is perhaps best remembered for its youthful style of British Funk especially the UK top ten eighties hit Southern Freeez and other UK and European hits. Much of the band's early work, including the track Southern Freeez became part of the Jazz-funk scene in the UK, in the early 1980s. The band were signed to the record label Beggars Banquet Records.

In my opninion, this is the best Sopranos Trailer ever. It features Carmela's Voice and Tony out in the Lawn on the intro, plenty of great moments, and the song "The Mark Has Been Made" off of the Nine Inch Nails album The Fragile.
